Environment Start/Stop
Manual Start/Stop
You can manually start or stop an Environment, either from the Environment action from the detail page, or from the listing:
- Select the running environment.
- Click the Actions menu.
- Click the Start / Stop button.
(Scheduled) Availability
You can choose when your Environment should be running, in order to save unnecessary costs. For example, you could have the Environment working every weekday, between 09:00 and 18:00.
This can be set at two different levels:
- At the Environment level: the rules are available only for that particular environment.
- At the Project level: the rules are available for all Environments within the Project.
Environment level availability
To set up an availability rule at the Environment level:
- Select your Environment in the Bunnyshell interface.
- Click the Settings button. The Settings for the selected Environment are displayed.
- In the Availability rules section, click Add timeframe.
- The three drop-down menus allow you to select the following:
- The days you want your environments to run
- The start hour
- The stop hour
- Finally, click the Save button.
Project level availability
To set up an availability rule at the Project level:

These rules can be overridden at the Environment level.
- Click on the project name in the upper-right corner of the Bunnyshell interface.
- Select View all projects.
- Select a Project where you want to set up the rules and click its corresponding Settings button.
- On the left-side menu select Environment rules.
- In the Environment availability section click Add timeframe.
- The three drop-down menus allow you to select the following:
- The days you want your environments to run
- The start hour
- The stop hour
- Finally, click the Save button.
